 Excelsior Children's Choir started in November of 2002 under the Direction of Mrs. Debbie Wallace. The choir is made up of children who range in age from five years old to twentysomething years old and attend Excelsior Junior Academy and Northeastern Academy: Brooklyn Campus in Brooklyn, New York.  They have such a unique sound and a wonderful ministry! They  have been blessed to sing at many churches in and around the Metropolitan areas of  New York City. They are the winners of the McDonald’s Gospelfest 2005, 2006 and 2007. Excelsior Children's Choir has also won the Black Caucus Music Festival of 2002 and 2007 taking top wins in various categories.They have been seen ministering their original songs from the PSAL Basketball Championship at Madison Square Garden to the steps of the White house in Washington DC.
 
Over 100 members of Excelsior's Children love to sing and give God praise. They were excited about their first live CD/DVD recording which took place on May 5th 2007 at the New Life Church in Brooklyn, New York. The CD has been released in October of 2008. Their prayer request unto the Lord is for Him to use them mightily,  keep them humble and bless the masses that have the opportunity to hear them minister.
